Full Job Description

Admin Support Assistant - 22.5hrs per week - will provide high quality administrative support to enable the Welfare Benefits Team deliver high quality information, advice, and guidance to people with disabilities. The successful candidate will be ready to undertake administration, client calls, be well versed in all Microsoft applications, organised and have good attention to detail. Full induction will be provided., 1. To work as a member of the Welfare Benefits Advice team, providing all necessary administration support as required by the Advisers and Senior Appeals Officer.
2. To contact potential clients to ascertain their needs and their eligibility for our service, in response to requests for support received via telephone messages / emails / website contact forms.
3. To update customer record management systems as required.
4. To ensure that suitable confidentiality and data protection procedures are followed at all times.
5. General administrative tasks such as organising files, creating correspondence, preparing reports/ statistics, sorting mail, answering phones etc.
6. To maintain the highest standards of the post with strict adherence to all DSWM policies and procedures.
7. To raise awareness with the line manager/ CEO of any health and safety issues affecting themselves, colleagues and clients.

This 22.5hrs per week post will be office based on Mon, Tues and Thurs 8:30am to 4:30pm with a starting salary of £14,285 with employer pension contribution and Enhanced Employee Assistance Programme.
