Full Job Description

To act as the Administration Team Lead for a team that includes clinical and non-clinical staff. Provide administrative support to a range of staff.
Supervise a team of administrative staff and take operational responsibility for them and the allocation of work.
As part of the Adult and Specialist Community and Primary Care Admin Hub you will report directly to Administration management.
You will be managing an admin team based at 169 London Road, Peterborough and Chesterton Medical Centre, 35 Union Lane, Cambridge.
You will be part of an Admin Lead Team of 7 others leads, all working operationally to manage their services., To provide leadership and manage a team of administrative staff including
undertaking appraisals, supervision, training and development of Band 2, Band 3 and Band 4 staff.
To provide leadership and manage a team of administrative staff across a variety of services, including producing staff rota's.
The post holder will support Service and Team Managers by implementing guidelines and protocols for administration services, setting up and developing systems, processes and procedures to support the efficient and effective management of resources against agreed financial and activity targets.
The post holder will assist the Directorate's Operational Administration Manager to monitor and report on quality, productivity, financial, waiting time, access and CQUIN targets, standards and performance indicators.
To provide support with ongoing budget management.
To be responsible for dealing with telephone complaints/enquiries and other communications with a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in line with CPFT procedures and policies.
Participate in root cause analyses and trend analyses of complaints, SI incidents and/or near misses reported, engaging the clinical governance department and working with other colleagues as appropriate to investigate.
Ensure that all lessons learnt from complaints are captured and disseminated across the service area and to a wider audience where relevant.
To lead and manage in the recruitment in line with processes for all administrative staff.
