Admin Team Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Team Lead to join the team at HMP Lancaster Farms, a Category C male resettlement prison located on the outskirts of Lancaster This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Admin Lead, or someone looking to progress their career and take their first step into management! We offer excellent career development opportunities, with lots of support! Hours: This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week. Shifts are between Monday and Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00 - we can be flexible on the days worked and shift times., As our new Admin Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead a team of 3 Administrators plus 1 Porter, ensuring that the healthcare team are fully supported
• Provide admin support to the senior team onsite, including the Head of Healthcare, Business Manager etc
• Support the senior team with meetings - attending to take minutes, arranging diaries etc
• Implement processes to improve access to healthcare
• Liaise with internal and external healthcare teams, including hospitals, and community providers
• Support with the recruitment and HR processes
• Work with the clinical team to improve the overall service

• Have admin experience, ideally within healthcare or a prison setting
• Ideally have experience of leading / managing a team - this isn't essential
• Have excellent IT skills, including Excel,
• Be experienced in minute taking
• Any experience of using a healthcare system (such as SystmOne) would be beneficial

This position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary of £28,247 - £32,346 (FTE) - depending on experience. How will we support you?
