Full Job Description

The Obesity Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 3 Admin & Typing Support worker to join our team. This post requires the post holder to provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative typing service to the Obesity Department ensuring that the work is prioritised according to the ever-changing demands of the service. The post requires the ability to work on your own initiative, dealing with all aspects of the work and referring to colleagues when necessary in relation to issues outside of own area of expertise. Candidates should be flexible and adaptable in their approach and able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.

The Obesity Service is a busy Outpatient department located in the new Outpatient Centre, near the main hospital site (within the Travelodge hotel site) and focuses on the Medical management of Obesity and pre-operative and post-operative care for our Bariatric Surgery patients., This post requires the post holder to provide efficient and comprehensive admin support to the Department ensuring that the work is prioritised according to the ever-changing demands of the service. The post requires the ability to work on your own initiative, dealing with all aspects of the work and referring to colleagues when necessary in relation to issues outside of own area of expertise.
