Full Job Description
Hilltop Infant School are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Administration Assistant to join our friendly, busy office team.
The successful candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure and communicate positively with pupils, parents, visitors and school staff.
We are passionate about delivering the best possible education to the children, we do this through strong team work, upholding our school values and visions and placing our pupils at the heart of all that we do.
The successful applicant will support all aspects of school administration including, but not limited to:
- incoming and outgoing post, email distribution, the school newsletter and attendance monitoring
- Be the first point of contact in the school office for pupils, parents/carers, visitors and colleagues
- Assist with the administration of first aid
- Updating and maintaining internal systems to include the school website and pupil management system
- Assisting with finance administration
- Helping to take minutes of meetings
Previous experience of working in a school environment is preferred, although training will be provided for the right candidate. You should possess GCSEs or equivalent in maths and English (C or above).
