Full Job Description

You will be required to undertake administrative and reception duties, deal with telephone enquiries from patients' regarding their appointments, data inputting, booking and re-arranging of appointments by letter or phone and other general office duties.

The role is varied and you will need the ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative in day to day tasks.

You will also be required to input data onto various patient administration systems (Lorenzo/SystmOne).

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual to join the CORE CAMHS Administrative Team

Candidates must be organised and able to work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature are essential for this role, especially during telephone contact with patients, staff and the general public

Word Processing to RSA II/OCR II or equivalent, proficient keyboard skills, experience in the use of Microsoft Office/Word packages and a good standard of English are essential attributes. The ability to prioritise workload, whilst maintaining flexibility in response to the changing needs of the department and adopting a proactive approach to work, are also necessary traits.

You must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, be educated to NVQ2 or have equivalent experiential learning.
