Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a B2 Administration Assistant within the Critical Care Unit at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust to work within the Rehabilitation Team providing administrative support for inpatients and discharged patients requiring follow up care.,

  • Provision of an audio typing/word processing service, producing appointment/clinic letters, meeting minutes and other correspondence for the Critical Care rehabilitation team
  • Respond to telephone enquiries and escalate as appropriate
  • Arrange follow up appointments for patients as requested by the rehabilitation team
  • Support the administrative running of the Critical Care rehabilitation service including follow up clinics
  • Support the Critical Care rehabilitation team with service related data collection using Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Maintain compliance with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of waiting list managemen

    The post holder will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude and flexible approach. The post holder will be keen to develop their knowledge and skills to meet this busy and demanding role., The successful applicant will have excellent IT skills and preferably an NVQ level in Business Administration or relevant experience.
