Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to be a part-time Administration Assistant. If you are a dynamic and motivated individual with experience of working with a diverse team of multi-disciplined professionals, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be joining an established team of Administration, within a welcoming, motivated and compassionate mental health service. This multi-disciplinary service provides assessment and interventions for adult people with acute mental health needs.
As a Trust, we value supporting the development and progression of our people and teams, this post will enable you to develop an understanding of working within the NHS, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to gain the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours to help you excel in this role, To provide and receive information accurately and in a timely fashion, including answering high volumes of telephone calls, processing of incoming and outgoing post, inputting of data referrals.
To demonstrate competent interpersonal skills with staff, patients, carers and professionals on the telephone and face to face, providing routine information where appropriate.
To problem solve, dealing with enquiries effectively and responsively - redirecting if necessary / appropriate to do so.
To provide support to colleagues, both administrative and clinicians as appropriate and when needed, this may include sending out appointments / letters / reports, supporting psychiatry, audio transcription, copy typing, scanning / uploading of documentation, inputting referrals onto systems.
