Full Job Description

As an administration coordinator, you will be part of a team of administrators working to support to the neuroradiology department as a whole. As a collective team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative service to department which includes supporting the consultant radiologists, radiographer superintendents and the department management team.

We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to join the Neuroradiology team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery., Based within the Neuroimaging Analysis Centre, 8-11 Queen Square, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working to deliver a comprehensive neuroradiology service to patients across various neurology services. We welcome applications from individuals with a "can-do" attitude, who are confident in decision making and self-motivated with a focus on service delivery and attention to detail.

Applicants should have experience of working within a healthcare environment in an administrative role, have an understanding of medical terminology combined with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You need a flexible approach and be prepared to work as part of a team, with occasional conflicting priorities.

The role requires liaison with patients and various clinical teams across the Trust so the ability to communicate appropriately with patients, relatives and professional staff is crucial. The department operates between 08:00hrs to 20.00hrs Monday-Friday and the successful candidate will need to work within the scope of these hours.
