Full Job Description

The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is the United Kingdom's oldest and largest dedicated neurology and neurosurgical hospital. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, motivated, professional team as a Admin Coordinator. The post holder will actively manage the administrative processes and coordinate care associated with Headache patient pathways, including bookings, Waiting list management, RTT validation and resolving queries.

Both written and verbal excellent communication skills are essential as the post holder will be primary point of contact for patients. The admin co-ordinator must have strong interpersonal skills as they would act as a liaison between the internal/external clinical teams and patients. The role requires someone who is proactive, willing to take ownership and accountability, and able to manage a high volume workload. It is a full-time post working alongside a team of Consultant Neurologists, Specialist registrars, specialist nurses and administrative staff. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic candidate who demonstrates knowledge and skills with a focus on maintaining and achieving high quality patient care. Good organisational skills, flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to work autonomously, with attention to detail, within a busy environment are key attributes. A good working knowledge of Excel and Electronic Health record systems is essential for this role.
