Full Job Description

1 x 24 hr Perm role at Litherland Urgent Treatment centre

Service is open 8-8 over 7 days including bank holidays

Role will comprise of 4 x 6 hour shifts hours will be 8-2 or 2-8 over 7 days (includes weekends and bank holidays)

Main responsibility will be booking patients who attend the Urgent Treatment Centre onto EMIS, Provide reception support as and when required, including receiving clients to the service and assisting with enquiries.

Take responsibility for keeping the Office area, clean and tidy.

Co-operate with risk assessments and ensure that risks are identified and reported as they arise in the workplace.

Requirement to work from other bases within the organisation, as necessary, and to undertake any other duties that may be required appropriate to the post holders grade, experience and competence.

The post holder shall as necessary provide cover for and undertake duties of absent

Assist with the training of new clerks within the service.

The post holder shall as necessary provide cover for and undertake duties of absent colleagues.

The post holder shall follow all the policies and procedures of the organisation

The successful candidate must be proficient in IT packages, particularly EMIS, Word & Excel, have excellent communication skills both verbally & written to effectively communicate with patients, staff at all levels within the organisation & external partners.

As well as possessing the ability to work well under pressure, showing initiative & self-motivation, understanding the importance of prioritising your own workload & meeting deadlines whilst maintaining a flexible approach is vital as you work both independently and as part of a team.
