Full Job Description

Are you an experienced and dynamic individual with a passion for supporting the smooth operation of educational environments? We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team at Wrockwardine Wood Infant School and Nursery. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient running of our school, contributing to various key functions, including finance, procurement, human resources, and marketing.,

  • Administrative Support: Assist the School Business Manager in managing support services, finance, procurement, infrastructure, human resources, and marketing functions.

  • Complex Handling: Manage complex reception matters, complete and submit detailed forms and returns, and provide guidance to staff, pupils, and external agencies.

  • Creativity & Organisation: Contribute to planning and developing support service systems, support the organisation of school trips/events, manage records, and assist with marketing and promotion of the school.

  • Decision-Making: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and equal opportunities.

    Experience: Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within an educational setting.

  • Skills: Good organisational, communication, and IT skills, including experience with complex financial administration and data management.

  • Attributes: Ability to manage multiple complex tasks efficiently, maintain high standards of confidentiality, and handle challenging situations with professionalism., Emotional Resilience: Ability to handle sensitive information and complex matters with support from senior leadership.
