Full Job Description

Cundall are leading the way in the provision of creative and sustainable design solutions. To keep up with the demands of the organisation, we require an enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join the UK&I Professional Support team, assisting multi-disciplined engineers in our Birmingham office., In line with the continuing growth of our business in the UK and internationally, we now wish to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our busy team in London who will provide comprehensive office support. The role includes:

  • Reception cover including answering incoming calls and greeting visitors
  • Control of incoming and outgoing post
  • Arranging meeting rooms for meetings, seminars, interviews etc.
  • Assisting with the set up for hosted events in the office
  • Arranging courier services for outgoing parcels and packages
  • Monitoring of stationery stock levels, keeping print room, PPE and stationary cupboards organised and tidy
  • Assistance in coordinating staff training sessions
  • Updating our intranet pages
  • You will also ensure that the office and kitchen areas are well maintained, as well as running general errands both on and off-site as required. You will establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as providing comprehensive back-office support to the leadership team in Birmingham.

    Some practical office administration experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office would be advantageous. The ideal candidate would be highly organised and proactive, conscientious and able to work to tight deadlines, making use of initiative and effective communication skills. You will possess a professional and courteous telephone manner and be a confident communicator both over the phone and in person whilst being able to prioritise your workload effectively. You will also have excellent written and verbal English language skills and be highly presentable.
