Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Building Cleaning Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £19,697 - £21,064 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic new member of staff to join our team. You should have the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, be able to handle pressure and have the ability to multi-task, be professional at all times and have excellent organisational and administration skills.

The responsibility of the administrative assistant is imperative to the service area as the role predominately consists of providing effective and timely administrative support to the relevant service group within Community and Leisure Services.

The successful applicant will assist in the development and implementation of administrative systems and processes and contribute to performance and planning information by collecting, inputting and collating service information onto relevant databases, and validating relevant performance planning and costing/accounting/profit and loss information.

A level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales. For example Level 3 NVQ 3 or BTEC National or ONC.
Evidence of understanding / experience of working with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
