Full Job Description
The post is 16 hours per week (to be worked on Thursday & Friday each week) and will be to provide admin support to the Short Term Assessment and Reablement Service (STARS), which is part of the Rochdale's award winning Adult Care services. Rochdale Borough Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised Administrative Assistant., To give you a feel for the role, we have outlined some of the core skills and attributes we are looking for but you can also find out more detailed information about the role in the job description attached below.
- You will be able to multi-task and have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
- You will be motivated and be able to work on your own initiative, whilst demonstrating a professional and enthusiastic attitude to everything you do.
- You will be a team player.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You will have good ICT skills and be able to use a range of packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- You will have a good attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate and detailed records using both manual and electronic systems.
Salary & Progression: We offer a competitive starting salary and annual incremental progression. - Working environment: You will be based in the newly refurbished offices at 72 Drake Street, Rochdale, located in the heart of Rochdale, within walking distance of the new Riverside Retail development.
