Full Job Description

An Administrative Officer is required as soon as possible, to support the admin function and be the face of this busy and friendly Catholic school. We pride ourselves in the high standards that we have set for our school and we are looking to appoint someone to join our team in this very important role.,

  • Maintaining manual and computerised records/ management information systems
  • Providing general clerical/admin/finance support
  • Undertaking reception duties, signing in visitors, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries from parents, staff and visitors
  • Supporting in arrangements for schools trips, residentials, after-school clubs, events etc.
  • Assisting in the collection, recording and banking of money
  • Assisting in the administration of statutory documents and returns
  • Undertaking the input of financial transactions where instructed
  • Monitoring stock and supplies, and processing orders
  • Providing general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others

    Ideally, the successful candidate will need to be experienced and skilled in working in a busy office environment and particularly in the effective use of IT systems. Although experience of working in a school would be desirable, we're looking to appoint someone who has a real passion for working in a child centred environment.
