Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fulltime permanent Administrative Officer to join our busy, friendly team providing a high-quality administrative service to support the Community Mental Health Teams within Adult Services. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will provide comprehensive, robust administrative support to the mental health Teams. This will include dealing with telephone calls, taking messages for team members; greeting and receiving visitors at reception together with using electronic systems to support the team and providing a typing service producing a range of documents, including letters, reports and presentations., Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer. You should hold a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent in a relevant subject.
