Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a proactive and organised HR and Payroll Administrative Officer as soon as possible this term. The successful candidate will join our busy Finance/HR office providing high-quality administrative support to the Business Manager in addition to undertaking a range of HR and payroll processes including staff recruitment, absence monitoring, payroll and safeguarding administration and the management of contracts. The Administration Officer will support the development and implementation of all policies and provide HR and payroll advice, guidance and support to staff and managers helping to ensure that policies and procedures are operated appropriately
- Have strong administration skills and a good knowledge of IT systems
- Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and high professional standards
- Be organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Have an understanding of HR and payroll processes and good practice
- Be confident and able to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner
30.00 Hours Per Week / Term Time Salary Range: Grade 4 (SCP5-6) £24,790 - £25,183 Pro Rata Actual Salary (£17,454 - £17,713) Days of work: Monday to Friday (6.5 hours per day) - start and finish time negotiable
