Full Job Description

We want someone who is forward thinking, innovative, motivated and passionate about service delivery and improving patient care. Does this sound like you? Then look no further!

Our departmental aim is...to provide a first class service for patients and staff alike. To support each other and the day to day running of the diagnostic imaging department through being helpful and accommodating towards all.

We seek an experienced individual who has a proven ability to undertake operational supervision of teams of staff and to demonstrate effective leadership, organisational and communication skills. You will be someone who can effectively switch between tasks, supervise teams across a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities and have a proactive approach to motivating teams through continuous support, mentoring and training.

You will be skilled in staying calm under pressured circumstances, have a solution focussed approach and be an excellent team player who is able to go above and beyond to support staff and patients within our service and in the wider trust.

The role will require working flexibly between the hours of 7.30am to 8pm from Monday to Friday, working occasional weekends and bank holidays and travelling between the trust sites.

We have 10,000 fantastic people working hard to deliver quality services to our patients. Whatever your role, you help look after 370,000 people in our local area & give specialist care to 1.5 million people across Lancashire & Cumbria.

Working with us gives you the knowledge and sense of pride that every activity you do genuinely does make a difference to support our patients & staff, ensuring we keep thriving & delivering outstanding healthcare right across our local towns.

You'll have access to varied development opportunities, learn new skills, meet fab people & do things you'd never have done. You'll learn about working in a hospital, interacting with people from all different roles to build skills & enhance your career path.

You'll make an impact, be challenged to think differently, be bold & help innovate to keep improving things. Everything we do centres around patient care which means your role is pivotal and something really to be proud of.
