You will work alongside other experienced, friendly admin support workers within the Specialist Nursing Services. Your main roles will include: Booking appointments ️ Registering patients on the computer system Managing databases and filing systems Answering phone queries Providing administrative support to the Specialist Nurses and other team members Be a key part of our dedicated and supportive team, making a difference every day! Detailed job description and main responsibilities + Respond to Enquiries o Handle external and internal telephone enquiries from staff, patients, and others with efficiency, tact, and diplomacy. o Ensure that messages and information are quickly relayed to the appropriate person. Effective Communication o Communicate with a wide range of staff, patients, and visitors using verbal, electronic, and other methods, ensuring information is tailored appropriately to the individual's needs. Database Management o Use databases and computer systems to create and maintain records, ensuring they are accurate and updated. o Generate statistics for analytical purposes where needed. Consumables and Filing o Assist in ordering patient consumables to support the team's needs. o Ensure accurate filing of patient investigations and correspondence, making them available on Evolve. Mail Sorting o Collect and sort incoming mail, ensuring it reaches the relevant Specialist Nurses or healthcare professionals for action. ️ Administrative Support o Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Children's Community and Specialist Nursing Team, ensuring smooth operation and effective service delivery.
