A great opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Administrator to join our Specialist Nursing Teams across the Isle of Wight.

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Tissue Viability Nursing teams as part of an integrated admin service across the Cluster.

As the Administrator, your proficiency, experience, and commitment to excellence will drive the smooth functioning of the service administrative processes. You will manage phone calls, emails, office supplies, and maintain records and the office.

The post holder could be the first point of contact for the services and therefore requires clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

To work as a member across the integrated administrative team providing extensive administrative support to the to the team and be responsible for the effective management and efficient working of non-clinical aspects of the Service in accordance with all Trust policies and procedures

Be an active and dynamic part of the integrated administrative team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of service objectives for the Cluster.

To seek improvement of administrative policies and procedures, where opportunities exist, within services and across the Cluster, providing co-ordination of activities to support change, working autonomously and using own initiative.

To act on behalf of the patient in enabling the Trust to be efficient and a provider of high-quality care.

The final combination of Southern Health and Solent NHS Trust services is expected in late 2024, when our new organisation, to be known as Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, will be formed.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
