Do you have a drive and passion for palliative care? Can you help to support patients, families and carers? Are you keen to develop your administration skills in hospice care?

We are currently looking to recruit passionate, caring, well organised and experienced administrator to join our Hospice in Your Home Team., You must have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 qualification in an appropriate field or equivalent experience. Ideally you will have experience of working within a healthcare setting. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at different levels with the ability to deal with distressing situations and emotive circumstances. You must have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and databases. Experience of SystmOne is an advantage

This will help someone decide if they want to apply.We are offering a permanent contract of employment. The salary is £23,887.50 per annum (basic salary)

  • Further enhancements for weekend and Bank holiday working
  • 37.5 hours per week worked over 5 days Monday - Sunday Worked between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm on a roster basis. The post holder will provide comprehensive, efficient and high quality secretarial and administrative services across all HIYH and care services (Hospice at Home, Hospice Night Support Service, Wellbeing and Bereavement)., 5 weeks holiday pay plus Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme, Medical cover, Staff referral scheme (earn extra pay every time you successfully refer someone), Employee Assistance Programme, including private GP access, National retail/attractions discount scheme, Free DBS check and Uniform.
