Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an administrator to work alongside our clinical teams in Community Adult Health Services within the Wandsworth Borough. Band 3 Locality Administrator - 1 post 37.5 hours per week, based at Battersea Studios, Unit 2, Silverthorn Road SW8 3HE All band 3 post holders will be expected to support services between 08.00 - 17.00 hours.,

  • Main duties and responsibility area 1 (If management role Team should come first)
  • Take initiative in suggesting improvements to administrative process ensuring the process remains efficient and cost effective
  • Responsible for taking receipt of patient referrals and inputting appropriate information into the electronic patient record
  • Responsible for liaising with GPs regarding patient referrals both verbally and in writing
  • Responsible for supporting the allocation of patient referrals appropriately within services
  • Manage any supplementary information required to support referrals
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with clinical colleagues to ensure effective processing of referrals and patient information, Interview arrangements will be communicated via email so please check your email regularly following the closing date.

    You will require previous experience of performing administrative duties, have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work well in a team and take instructions from several sources. We are looking for people who are reliable, possess good timekeeping skills, are highly organized, competent with a range of I.T. packages, have a good telephone manner with the ability to take clear messages and perform general office duties. You will have a good general education with the equivalent of GCSEs in English and Math's at Grade A-C or equivalent work based experience and has a keen eye for detail.
