Full Job Description
As a Thinking Ahead administrator, you will work alongside a team of administrators, psychological wellbeing practitioners and counsellors across a multi-agency pathway to support and organise the administrative functions of the service. You will facilitate the smooth running of the service and the retention of relevant data and information.
- You will have experience of dealing with, and managing, difficult calls, which may be from callers who are distressed, upset or in crisis.
- You will be a skilled, person-centred individual who is highly motivated.
- You will have experience of diary management.
- You will have experience of dealing with members of the public from different sectors and communities.
- You will have the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
- You will have the ability to multitask efficiently while working on your own initiative.
- You will have a high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite and database management.
- You will have strong communication skills both orally and written.
- You will have personal resilience and a flexible attitude in the face of difficulties.

Thinking Ahead is a user led mental health service that is part of The Big Life Group, that has developed considerable expertise in the field of primary care mental health. The service currently delivers a range of services including self help support groups, cCBT services, counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The charity is funded by various NHS Trusts and works across, - £23,500 per annum salary (NJC Point 5)
- A permanent, full-time, 37.5 hour a week contract.
- Based at the Lock 50 Business Centre, Oldham Road, Rochdale, OL16 5RD
- Some travel may be required to our offices in Manchester depending on service requirements.
- 25 days holiday, and 30 after here five years.
