Full Job Description

As an Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Babcock has started a series of major infrastructure projects at Devonport in Plymouth. Over the next 10 years Babcock will develop state of-the-art facilities to meet the evolving requirements of the UK's Royal Navy. This is an exciting opportunity to join as an Administrator. Day-to-day, you'll support with general administrative support to the various teams.

  • Diary management, including organising meetings, arranging travel, typing letters/reports, archiving documents, minute taking, action tracking, stationary and furniture ordering, as well as organising site passes and escorting visitors.
  • Maintenance and administration of the various SharePoint sites to ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Ensure procedural documentation remains in date and valid.
  • Collate information for reports and producing the relevant packs.
  • Assisting with project information/data packs for the teams.
  • This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

  • Knowledge of company procedures within an office environment.
  • Excellent MS Office and SharePoint skills.
  • Effective written and verbal skills.

  • Qualifications for the Administrator
  • GCSE in English and Maths, grade C or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent
  • Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
