Full Job Description

Are you an experienced administrator, used to juggling multiple priorities while keeping your cool? Would you like to work in a friendly, rewarding environment? Come and put your skills to use at a charity supporting people with learning disabilities. You will provide administrative support to the Managers at our services in Leicestershire. This is a full-time role for 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be based at our office in Leicester. This is a varied role, which will involve record-keeping for the people we support, updating training records for staff, and extensive involvement with recruitment among the 101 other tasks needed to keep a busy administrative function running effectively. Working in the social care sector is a highly regulated environment with a lot of 'paperwork', but essentially it's all about supporting people to live their best possible lives.

You must be an experienced Administrator able to:

  • Work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Be well organised and able to prioritise
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have excellent IT skills, including MS Office and ideally experience of online databases and management information systems
  • Willingness to learn new systems
