Full Job Description

We are now looking to recruit an efficient and organised administrator to join our staff team and provide a high quality and efficient service that contributes towards effective learning across the Colleges. You should be able to demonstrate a flexible and customer focused approach, work well within a team, have a personable and friendly manner and a tactful and diplomatic disposition to deal with confidential issues sensitively. Hours of work - 35 hours per week x 39 weeks per year. Salary calculated in line with NJC Grade C pay scale, points 5 - 7 (£23,500 - £24.293 FTE) Actual salary £19,170 - £19,817 pro rata Main duties and responsibilities

  • Adhere to the School's rigorous procedures for recording, monitoring, analysing and acting upon a range of data including student attendance, referrals, academic and SEN records from all subject areas.
  • To disseminate information to teams, such as detentions lists
  • To complete first day calling for absent pupils, and receive calls from parents on the absence line
  • To enter attendance codes into the MIS
  • To collect and collate assessment information in preparation for reports and parents' evenings.
  • To provide administrative duties in the school office, including reception.
  • To analyse data and produce reports for various departments
  • Take phone calls as required and refer to relevant person
  • Provide typing service as necessary with accurately typed information
  • Provide administrative support as appropriate which will include preparing statements, profiles and additional reports.
  • Input, retrieve and analyse information using the MIS systems.
  • Ensure that confidentiality is observed at all times and abide by the data protection act.
  • Ensure the safe disposal of confidential waste.
  • Prioritise your workload to ensure the completion of work to specific deadline
