Full Job Description
We are pleased to share an opportunity for a permanent full-time administrator to join our highly progressive older adult's team here at Upton Lea. This post is 37.5 hours per week, working days Monday to Friday.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, and resourceful individual with a can-do approach to join our team. You should possess a commitment to team working and a desire to deliver excellent standards of work. The successful candidate would be joining a fantastic team who support each other and strive to deliver an exceptional service for our patients.
We aim to provide the highest standards in administrative support services to our colleagues across the west locality to maintain health, safety and, most importantly wellbeing of the people in our area.
We want all staff members to develop their skills through training and development opportunities., The successful candidate will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, undertake typing of correspondence, reports, agenda, and minutes Using Microsoft teams copy typing or Winscribe.
The successful candidate be responsible for co-ordinating the administration of Inputting, referrals on to our clinical system and maintaining the retrieval of information from relevant databases and to assist in the preparation of statistical, audit information on time limited projects as requested.
Liaise with GPs, Social Workers and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will answer the main phone line into the team, signposting calls appropriately, whilst demonstrating compassion and maintaining professional boundaries with callers.
The successful candidate will also be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met, and that urgent work is accommodated.
This is a rewarding and varied role and applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in typing and keyboard skills, excellent communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide cross cover for administration colleagues as and when required.
