Full Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Children's Services in the community for a full time, Band 3 Administrator. You will be working within the clinic management team and work closely with our consultants and AHP clinicians.
There is a high level of contact with external and internal service users therefore good interpersonal skills are a priority. Strong organisational skills and accuracy are required and the ability to flexibly manage and prioritise a full workload.
You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the consultant, Allied Health Professionals and Nursing services within the Children's Service., You will work closely with the other members of the team and Support Manager to provide an excellent administrative service to Consultants and AHP's. You will liaise regularly with external and internal partners ensuring the EHCP process runs smoothly and in a timely manner. You will use pivots to ensure RTT targets are hit and be responsible for managing the patient appointment booking line within the service booking and amend and issue clinic appointments for children as required using the Trust system., As a large NHS trust we are committed to enhancing the health of our local population by delivering consistently high standards of care and working closely with local authorities and key partners. The ideal candidate will have administration experience, excellent communication skills and be proficient with a wide variety of computer packages including Microsoft, EPR and Medisec. Good knowledge of Patient Centre is required as managing referrals is a big part of the role. You must be keen to learn about how to build clinic templates and other aspects of the role is not already known i.e. EHCP process and around SEN.
