Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover basis (earliest start date from 13th January 2025 until 9th January 2026) in the Occupational Safety and Health Services Department, providing a wide range of support.
In this varied and interesting role, you will undertake a range of administrative activities whilst also providing helpdesk support for the online institutional safety management system.
You will regularly arrange and minute meetings and committees as well as be responsible for supporting ongoing departmental office activities including assisting with organising safety training and co-ordination of personal emergency egress plans.
You will have the opportunity to provide training/deliver presentations to staff on the use of the safety management system.
To be successful in this role you will need to have

o Excellent written and oral communication skills as this role has regular contact with senior staff members and involves delivering training on the use of the safety management system to all staff
o The ability to maintain effective administrative systems and work processes with strong organisation skills.
o Experience in an administrative or similar role, including such tasks as: making hospitality arrangements, committee servicing, writing minutes, diary management, preparing agendas, reports, and correspondence.
o Strong skills in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
