Full Job Description

This role will be key in ensuring the smooth running of our service, which supports local residents to lose weight, get more active, and improve their overall wellbeing. You will work closely with the Head of Service and the administration team to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.,

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sandwell Adult Weight Management Service, including managing patient and health professional correspondence, database updates, appointment bookings, and telephone queries.
  • Manage incoming healthcare referrals and schedule client appointments using appropriate software.
  • Work within a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, clients, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
  • Regularly monitor service targets and contribute to the achievement of program goals.

    Demonstrable experience in an administrative role, ideally within a health or community setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a positive, welcoming attitude towards clients, colleagues, and health professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
