Full Job Description

The roles demand excellent self-management and prioritisation skills to offer a high-quality admin service. You will work in a collaborative way to ensure a smooth and efficient service. You will be responsible for specific tasks and will have a positive influence on those around you. These posts are in the admin support hub for the Neurodiversity Pathway for children and young people across Herts who would benefit from a pre-assessment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and/or an autism assessment. These roles will provide admin support to the admin and clinical teams across partner organisations. The post holders will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and other agencies who provide assessment and support related to ADHD and Autism in a variety of community settings.,

  • Provide an efficient, comprehensive, professional, and confidential administrative and secretarial service using organisational ability in terms of administrative systems and demonstrating initiative and motivation.
  • Use own initiative, working without direct supervision, to fulfil the role's aims.
  • Prioritise and manage own workload and take personal responsibility for a number of specific tasks, providing cross cover for tasks/responsibilities for any service should the need arise.
  • Be the first point of contact for inquiries and communications proactively taking action where appropriate or hand over to the appropriate member of the team for required response.
  • Plan staff rotas and cover; arrange meetings; manage diaries as required.
  • Participate in team meetings, including typing and distributing minutes and prepare presentations as required.
  • Demonstrate administrative and secretarial duties to new starters and less experienced staff.
