Full Job Description

We are looking for two engaging and enthusiastic team members to join our friendly and welcoming team in the School of Health Sciences. Both posts will work in our teams supporting Education and Student Experience activity, as well as supporting the wider operations team. The post-holders will work together with other colleagues to provide excellent administrative support for a range of activities, enabling school priorities to be met.

As an Administrator you will;

  • Support all aspects of administration related to Education and Student Experience

  • Maintain documentation, records, materials and processes using a range of systems and methods

  • Receive and respond to internal and external enquiries, providing advice and resolving both simple and complex issues

  • Work with others to ensure record keeping is maintained across a wide range of functions

  • Support meetings, conferences and events, These are permanent positions available immediately. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.

    Excellent communication skills

  • Extensive IT skills, particularly of using MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Teams etc)

  • Ability to build working relationships with others

  • Experience of planning your own work activities

  • Accuracy, reliability and the willingness to learn new skills

    £23,736 to £26,608 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance
