Full Job Description

F.T.C Administration Assistant. The post is for a 12-month fixed term contract at the Hewitt Fertility Centre Knutsford site.An opportunity has arisen within The Hewitt Fertility Centre at Knutsford for an Administration Assistant, who is a bright, committed, and enthusiastic individual. You would be working within a rapidly developing service and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. A background in an administration role is essential.

The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient clerical support service to the organisation supporting the clinical team.

The post holder will be required to be proficient in the use of Information Technology and supporting technologies to enable the discharge of duties in an efficient and effective manner., To deal with all patient queries and concerns, to answer telephone queries and concerns - (these may be of a sensitive nature) to register new and follow up patients appointments using logging procedures on Digicare and IDEAS systems as required, sending out relevant patient letters. To liaise with consultants/nurses,To assist with general administrative duties e.g. dealing with mail, photocopying and filing. assisting with patient letters using DICT8,To provide an efficient admin service for the registration and treatment of satellite patients. To invoice private patients for consultation, screening, treatment, and drug top ups, taking payment in person or by telephone, via debit/credit card, bank transfer and recording all payments on IDEAS. To maintain filing systems as required.
