Administrator (HV)

The Health Visiting Service are looking for an administrator to provide support to the team. This is a permanent part time role (21 hours) based at Leigh Town Hall across Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Health Visiting Team to facilitate the effective operational delivery of the Health Visiting Office by undertaking routine office duties and dealing with routine enquiries. This will include providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the health visiting team and will actively participate and contribute to the development of the service., The role involves the set up and maintenance of an efficient office, ensuring that Health Visiting materials and resources are reproduced in a timely manner and efficiently organised to enable maximum clinical contact time for clinical staff.

Excellent communication skills are required as the post involves liaising with many health and social care providers and patients.

The ability to work as a team member but also unsupervised is essential. The teams are small and friendly, forward thinking and committed to service development.
