Full Job Description

As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide excellent admin support to the Mental Health team onsite
  • Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
  • Seeing patients on the wings - chasing paperwork and answering general enquiries
  • Work on the healthcare system (SystmOne) - inputting mental health referrals and ensuring records are accurate, as well as running reports
  • Attend meetings and take minutes as necessary

    We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Mental Health team at HMP Winchester, a category B male remand prison in Winchester City Centre. We have excellent transport links as well as free onsite parking.,
  • Experience within an administrative role - any experience in a mental health or healthcare environment would be an advantage
  • Any experience using a healthcare system such as SystmOne would be a bonus
  • Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues, both internal and external
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
  • Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports

    This is a fantastic new opportunity to join the Mental Health team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the team are fully supported. You will become the newest member of our amazing Mental Health team of 15, made up a range of professionals including a Psychiatrist, Psychologists and Nurses. Hours: This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 / 08:30 - 16:30. Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of £24,924 - £27,582 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?
