The role will involve(but is not limited to) reception duties, data input, processing electronicreferrals and scanning., Please see the attachedJob Description (under Supporting Documents) for more information regarding therole and to access the full person specification.

We are looking for anindividual with good administration experience, strong communication skills,the ability to work well under pressure and a desire to provide a first-classservice for patients. If you areenthusiastic and enjoy working in a team then we would like to hear from you.In return we can offer you a supportive, fast moving and varied job, in anoften-busy environment. To be eligible forthis post the applicant will need to have a good general education as well asexcellent customer service and IT skills. We are a busy,friendly team, who would welcome the opportunity to work with a new member ofstaff willing to contribute to the on-going development of the services weprovide. Experience of workingwith patients and healthcare professionals would be an advantage.   • Educated to GCSE Grade C in English (or equivalent qualification).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures.
  • Excellent all round knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable
  • ECDL or equivalent.
  • Patient Administration Systems.
  • Experience Essential
  • Evidence of administrative experience within a customer focussed environment.
  • Experience of working with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising work.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of delivering a customer focused service.
  • Experience of working in health, medical or social care environment.
  • Sound knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
  • Experience of using PAS ( SystmOne).
  • Knowledge of Information Governance.

  • Previous NHS experience.

  • Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence.
