Full Job Description

To be responsible for the day to day management of the office and the development, implementation and maintenance of high quality office practices and procedures to ensure that all non-clinical requirements of the team are met.

To be responsible for surgical instrument repair orders, purchasing and stock overview including maintaining stock, storage arrangements and replenishment routines and oversee calibration of equipment and instrument as required.

The post holder will support in the provision and development of a professional decontamination services to the Trust and its customers. This will be achieved by providing a full range of secretarial and administrative duties in all aspects of the sterile process, procedures and departmental accreditation, To work in accordance with departmental policy, standard operating procedures and quality management systems. Purchase of all raw materials, raising requisitions and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times. To establish and maintain clear lines of communication between all key members of the decontamination team and between decontamination team and other departments where necessary. To be responsible for the raising of orders, product searches, stock takes and surgical instrument repair orders
