Full Job Description
This post is full time and one year fixed term, working 35 hours per week.
After an excellent year for student recruitment, we are seeking to appoint another determined and effective individual to help provide a successful and driven Admissions service for the University.
This post is for an Admissions Officer who will manage a variety of undergraduate courses. This will involve, liaising with academic staff, setting up interviews and portfolio reviews and making selection decisions within agreed academic criteria.
The successful candidate should be able to manage this varied workload and have the skills to monitor the achievement of recruitment targets and extract data for the courses for which they are responsible. We require an excellent team player who will contribute fully to the effective running of the office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate information using the University's student record system. The role entails contact with applicants and potential applicants and liaison with external agencies so candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
