Full Job Description

As the Senior Admissions Officer you will supervise the delivery of the Local Authority's Admissions services, assisting the Admissions Manager in leading the planning, development, performance monitoring, evaluation and marketing of the service.
You will provide specialist advice and guidance on admissions legislation and procedures to a variety of stakeholders, including senior managers and the lead member for Education.
The Senior Admissions Officer is a senior post and an integral part of the Education and Early Intervention team, ensuring that our admissions processes are fair, open and in accordance with the Schools Admissions Code in Wales.
The post holder will be expected to have excellent interpersonal, communication and engagement skills and the ability to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders at both strategic and operational service delivery level.
Excellent analysis and reporting skills are essential in this post, as is the ability to manage your own time and work independently. You will be a good communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

The post is based at Crown Buildings, Wrexham, with a requirement to travel to different school sites across the Borough.
