Full Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for an Adoption Service Support Officer within the Regional Western Bay Adoption Service. This is a collaboration of 3 local authorities, Neath Port-Talbot, Bridgend and Swansea who provide services to all those affected by adoption. This is a 30hr week temporary post to cover secondment leave from the agreed start date for successful candidate until 31st March 2026. This post is based in Neath Annex.
You will be responsible for providing a flexible, high quality and efficient business support service. This will include telephony, use of I.T. systems and providing clerical support to the Regional Western Bay Adoption Service. You will also be responsible for taking weekly minutes of WBAS panels.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must possess a good standard of Education., The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
