Adult Care Trainer

Your Role as an Adult Care Trainer:

As an Adult Care Trainer, you'll combine working from home with visiting care settings across your region to train and support adult care apprentices. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, choose when to meet learners face-to-face and deliver online sessions to suit their needs.

What You'll Do:

Train and mentor adult care apprentices in care homes and online, passing on your expertise to the next generation of care professionals.
Tailor learning plans to meet the individual needs of your apprentices, ensuring they are well-supported throughout their development.
Guide apprentices in functional skills by showing them how English and maths are essential to their roles and helping them strengthen these skills.
Build strong relationships with care home employers, providing them with feedback on their apprentices' progress and development.
Support and mentor apprentices through face-to-face visits, online training, and ongoing guidance to help them achieve their qualifications and become confident professionals.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Experience at Senior Care Worker, Deputy Care Manager, or Care Manager level.
A Level 3 qualification in Adult Care (or similar).
Strong technology skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, with support provided to help you achieve them., We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and this role requires an Enhanced DBS Check., Disability Confident
