Adult Critical Care Sister / Charge Nurse - Band 6

We are recruiting for experienced band 6 nurses with a post graduate qualification in critical care to join RCN Team of the Year 2021 Winners, Adult Critical Care Unit at the Royal London Hospital.

We are very much on the frontline in London's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and are rapidly expanding our critical care capacity in response to demand in the capital. Our additional capacity will allow us support the backlog of complex surgical patients awaiting elective surgery alongside our trauma and emergency patients whilst continuing to care for patients suffering from Covid-19 and our staff will rotate in their teams across all of our critical care areas.

As the UK's largest trauma centre our ACCU unit leads the trauma network for North East London and Essex. It is a leading specialist centre with an international reputation for caring for some of the most seriously injured patients in London and beyond. Working within a highly skilled, dynamic multi-disciplinary team, in our busy 60 bedded Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU), which accommodates both level 3 and level 2 patients. This is an excellent opportunity for, energetic, enthusiastic staff nurses with at least 6 months acute experience, to provide a high standard of care to patients within a challenging, yet supportive acute hospital setting.
