Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Band 6 to join the ED team.

Are you an adult Registered Nurse, with significant ED experience?

Do you like a challenge where no 2 days are the same? Are you an experienced nurse with emergency department experience?

Access to education via NTU modules is supported and we offer many opportunities for self-development and progression within the role and we are looking for someone who wants to learn and inspire others.

Please note this role is full internal rotation made up of long shifts 7-1930 or 1900-0730 covering 7 days a week, this will include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Main duties of the job

Act as a support to the Band 7 Team and ensuring that the standards and quality of care given to patients, together with the environment in which care is delivered, are maintained at a high standard.

Be an effective leader and role model and will be expected to provide regular direct clinical care and use experience to support the implementation of both clinical and non-clinical governance.

Work flexibly as a member of the team and in support of the Band 7.
