We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative neurodevelopmental practitioners to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary services within the Croydon locality. You will be part of our Assessment and Liaison and Community Mental Health Teams.

About the Role:

We are specifically looking for a Pharmacist or a Psychologist with a passion for working with adults with neurodevelopmental conditions.

As a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you will:

  • Conduct specialist clinical assessments.

  • Support the development of a stepped-care approach to assist adults with neurodevelopmental disorders.

  • Aim to improve access, experience, and outcomes for this population.

  • To provide specialist interventions according to discipline including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes.

  • To offer expert consultation and advice to A&L and CMHT team members in Neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities.

  • To participate in the development and implementation of a stepped care pathway for people presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders.

  • To contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.

  • To provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.

  • To promote service evaluation, audit and research.

  • To scope clinical gaps for people with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.

  • To work as an autonomous professional within registration body guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by the policies and procedures of the service, taking responsibility for own work including treatment an discharge decisions with support of clinical supervisor

  • To offer training to mainstream services

    Relevant qualifications and experience as a Pharmacist or Psychologist
