Full Job Description
The postholder will lead on the adult safeguarding agenda and be responsible for ensuring that the Trust has effective arrangements in place to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk., As the Safeguarding Adult Lead, you will be responsible for to ensuring the Trust has effective arrangements in place to meet its statutory duties, responsibilities, and obligations in relation to safeguarding adults at risk.
To assist with the development and implementation of the Trust's safeguarding adult agenda, ensuring that Trust policies, procedures and governance systems meet statutory, national, and local requirements in relation to safeguarding adults.
To support the Head of Safeguarding/Named Nurse to ensure that the Trust contributes to multi-agency safeguarding work alongside specialist safeguarding professionals from other organisations and bodies, including social care, education, and health, and in the planning and development of strategies for safeguarding.
To ensure that safeguarding concerns are monitored and dealt with in a timely and effective way across the organisation, and there is a learning culture with a focus on continuous improvement and the delivery of safe and high quality care.
