Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Board Administrator within the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board. This is a key role within the board and is responsible for supporting the smooth running and administrative functions of the board.,

  • report to the board manager and be responsible for providing effective administrative support to the SSASP Board meetings and associated sub-groups

  • efficiently produce letters and minute meetings

  • obtain, analyse and present information and where appropriate undertake research and produce reports, using IT applications and packages

  • carry out diary management and deal with telephone and email enquiries from customers, partners and Staffordshire County Council establishments

  • have responsibility for making payments and managing the day to day financial transactions, managing budgets through our finance procurement system

    If you enjoy working in a multiagency environment and have experience of working in an administrative role then this could be the position for you!, You will have:

  • an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • the ability to work to deadlines and be flexible to changing needs

  • relevant experience in administrative tasks such as minute taking, managing calendars and producing letters

  • working knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages

  • the ability to travel and commute between specified locations around the County in order to attend meetings
