Full Job Description
Nottingham City GP Alliance is seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our dynamic GP surgery teams across locations in Nottingham City. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients across a range of conditions, working autonomously and collaboratively with GPs and the wider practice team.,
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medication in accordance with national and local guidelines.
- Manage and review treatment plans, providing ongoing care and support to patients.
- Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
- Offer consultations for minor illness and injury, with the ability to refer or escalate care when necessary.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Registered Practitioner with a Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent experience. - Independent prescriber status.
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Develop a range of services to support practices maximise efficiency in practice administration
- Facilitate innovative ways for General Practice to enhance its service offer including the use of ARRS roles to create PCN multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop workforce training pathways for GPs, nurses and other professions in order to improve the working life of people working in the city
