Advance Level Hand Therapist (Bank)

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. We're looking for an exceptional Advanced Level Hand Therapist who thrives on challenging cases and situations, and has a passion for clinical expertise along these lines. Developing your skills and meeting registration requirements are important aspects of this role. We provide in-service training through the supportive environment of our unique Physiotherapy Academy. The Advanced Level Hand Therapist role also requires:

• Initiating a structure for individual rehabilitation programmes for musculoskeletal referrals, coordinating with all members of the multidisciplinary clinical team
• Case managing complex patient presentations using a patient-centred approach, with the focus on excellent customer satisfaction and achieving the best clinical outcome possible
• Acting as a point of clinical expertise for other health professionals, including third party physiotherapists, to facilitate the best outcome for the patient.
• To review emerging evidence within area of specialist knowledge and assist its integration into the Nuffield Health Wellbeing evidence-based pathways
  
  With a BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent), you'll have considerable post-graduate experience.
You'll hold, or be working towards, a relevant MSc, and be registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. With excellent clinical and analytical skills, you'll be able to demonstrate a highly developed knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, acquired through 5 years of clinical experience and post-graduate education.   Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain.
