Our hospital is recruiting for highly motivated and experienced Operating Department Practitioner/ Anaesthetic Nurses (ODP/AN) to join our high performing theatre team. With a focus on Anaesthetics, this is your opportunity to join one of the UK's leading hospitals and take your career to the next level. We are seeking qualified professionals with excellent and efficient anaesthetic skills. They must be able to lead a team of junior staff in liaison with the Band 7 managers. We would love you to join our friendly and dynamic theatre team at Croydon Elective & Emergency Surgical Centres within Croydon University Hospital
Croydon Elective Centre consists of nine operating theatres, specialties include:
+ Orthopaedics
+ Urology
+ Gynaecology
+ General
+ Colorectal
+ Upper and Lower GI
+ Breast
+ Max-Fax
+ ENT
+ Paediatrics (ENT,Ortho and General, Our Croydon Elective Centre (CEC) has been nationally recognised for our innovative practice and has been described as a 'blueprint' for theatre activity in the UK.
As a senior ODP/Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will be expected to assist our anaesthetists in safe care, not only in a theatre setting but outlying areas, such as
+ · Interventional Radiology, X Ray and Endoscopy suites
+ · Emergency Surgical Centre
+ · ED / Resus
+ · Obstetrics dept
You should be competent, proactive, and flexible and have a keen eye for detail to maintain our excellent care standards.
